| Key West SCUBA Instruction Capt. Jamie Merkel has been diving for more than 22 years and been fortunate enough to have been teaching for 19 of them. A multi-agency Instructor Trainer and Course Director for 15 years, Capt. Jamie has taught dive instructors all over the world in almost every environment possible as well as being a contributor to many of the educational texts that are still in use today.
